Information we collect
TerraKomet is built to work without requiring an account. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to read articles, play games or use tools. Some tools (like our calculators) process the information you type entirely inside your own browser — that data is never sent to our servers.
Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical information when you visit: pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level, from IP address), device and browser type, and referring website. Once analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) are connected, this data helps us understand which content is useful and where to improve.
Cookies and local storage
Some Play section games and quizzes save your best score locally on your own device using your browser's local storage, so it's remembered next time you play. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. Advertising partners (including Google AdSense, once active) may set their own cookies to show relevant ads and measure ad performance — see Google's own policies for how they handle that data.
Advertising
TerraKomet plans to display advertising through Google AdSense and, potentially, other ad networks. These partners may use cookies and similar technology to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your browser settings or via Google's Ads Settings.

Some articles and tool pages may contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our editorial judgment about what we recommend.
Third-party services
We may use third-party services for analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), performance monitoring, and the QR code tool (which sends only the text you choose to encode to a third-party QR generation service to produce the image). We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Children's privacy
TerraKomet is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings, and opt out of personalised advertising via your browser or device settings.
